Parents and community members are welcome and encouraged to volunteer at the West Bath School. Those interested in volunteering must complete a Volunteer Registration Form (IJOCA) and submit that form to the WBSAU Superintendent prior to being scheduled to volunteer. The Superintendent or designee will be responsible for reviewing and approving the volunteer in accordance with this policy.
Before a person can become an approved volunteer, he or she will be screened through a background check. The objective of screening is to ensure, so far as is reasonably possible, that students are safe in school environments.
